About the Position: Serves as the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager and Computer Aided Design (CAD) Manager responsible for all BIM/CAD related issues, including technical guidance; quality control of all BIM and CAD products, evaluation and implementation of processes and standards; evaluation of advanced programs, trouble-shooting, procedures and equipment; coordination of training needs, presentation of training courses, budget management, and preparation of operating protocol.Requirements:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: managing the implementation of a specific type of critical software that is used to generate design documents; experience in managing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) processes including implementing new standards, software, leading multi-disciplined teams, providing technical direction and guidance, trouble-shooting, preparation of operating protocol, etc; experience in the integration of BIM and Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) into business, design practices, processes, leading teams in 3D coordination and document development; and a working knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microstation software. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
