Requirements:

MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). 1. Demonstrated knowledge of remote sensing imaging systems (e.g., satellite, ground, and airborne) and photogrammetric principles.
2. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with the ability to develop and present findings to meet the needs of various audiences.
3. Demonstrated experience identifying, developing, prioritizing, and completing tasks on time in a fluid environment.
4. Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading relationships across multiple organizations and customers.
5. Demonstrated experience applying statistical and quantitative methodologies to extracted data from imagery, e.g., trigonometry and linear algebra.
6. Demonstrated ability to visualize and analyze imaged objects in three dimensions.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Imagery Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline that included 24 semester hours in Physical Science and/or related Engineering Science such as Dynamics, Electronics, Mechanics, and Properties of Materials. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A that included at least 24 semester hours in Physical Science and/or related Engineering Science, plus experience that involves extraction of monoscopic, stereoscopic, and multiscopic mensuration of objects and geographic features utilizing all imaging systems, including Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications, or a related field that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Distinguish principal colors and shades/hues of principal colors; Near visual acuity of 20/20 or better with or without corrective lenses; Stereopsis ability; Hand steadiness

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired:

1. Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following software tools: RemoteView, SocetGXP, Mensuration Services Program (MSP), GeoTrans, Systems Tool Kit (STK), EOS PhotoModeler, Compass, Common Geopositioning Services (CGS), MATLAB, Python, C++
2. Demonstrated experience with some/all national imaging systems (NTM), Civil imaging systems, commercial imaging systems, ground, airborne, and video.
3. Demonstrated experience with data science; coding; modeling/simulation; image and digital signal processing; and/or prototyping.
4. Demonstrated application of Computer Vision (CV) and/or Machine Learning (ML) techniques for the purpose of improving or automating photogrammetric capabilities/processes.
5. Demonstrated experience with cameras, imaging system design; imagery product absolute and relative
mensuration performance analysis using sensor models.
6. Demonstrated experience in close range single photo perspective and multi-photo photogrammetric
processing to include concepts and tools.
