This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for the contracted functions within DEOMI. Assists personnel in contractual requirements determination and development. Aids requirement owner(s) in developing initial scope and funding for submission in the DHRA Requirements Traceability Database (RTD) for approval through the DHRA Senior Resource Advisor (SRA) to the Director, DHRA.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Conducting contract price research and cost analysis to evaluate cost data for a variety of pre-award procurement activities; Applying business, industrial management, contracting procedures, technical concepts, and production practices to evaluate contractor proposals and activities; and Planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of research, development, production, and/or support of acquisition functions.; OR
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
