This position is located in the Human Resources Management Division, Department of Department of Administration and Finance, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).This reimbursable detail assignment is for a period of one year. It provides an exciting opportunity for a high performing employee to expand their competencies. Upon approvals, t he detail may be extended. This detail is open to current Federal employees in positions equivalent to MCC Pay Band 4b (GS-12).
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have at least one year of specialized experience (equivalent to MCC-4B or GS-11) in at least two of the following: Examples include:- Experience serving as a technical resource and providing guidance on Federal employee benefits, work life programs and reasonable accommodations.
- Experience determining employee's retirement coverage, verifying creditability of service, and determining retirement eligibility.
- Experience developing communications/marketing plans for employee benefits, retirement, and work life programs.
- Experience processing benefits forms, health coverage election forms, life insurance, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) enrollments, etc.
- Experience developing, administering, and evaluating programs in employee benefits, retirement and work life.
- Experience providing counseling to employees, managers, supervisors, and field personnel representatives on regulations, procedures, and technical provisions of both retirement systems.
- Experience providing advice on a range of available Work-life programs.
- Experience calculating service computation dates, annuity estimates and deposits and redeposits.
- Experience providing technical guidance/advisory services on leave programs. Note: Please ensure that this experience is documented within your resume or application.
