You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized Experience at the GS-12 Level : One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Experience analyzing program manpower data; (2) Utilizing an automated budget/financial system to manage program requirements; (3) Participating in program management activities to improve the organization structures and processes; AND (4) Assisting in preparing briefings materials to review program performance with management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Specialized Experience at the GS-13 Level : One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conducting manpower studies to provide advisory services; 2) Maintaining the organization's manning documents such as Table of Distribution Allowances (TDA); 3) Advising management on a wide range of staffing issues; AND (4) Experience supporting budget planning justification and program objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
