Description:
The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO) works to proactively identify and prevent discrimination. OEEO maintains an efficient, fair, and impartial complaint resolution process in accordance with 29 C.F.R. 1614 and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's (EEOC) Management Directive (MD) 110. OEEO evaluates ODNI policies and practices to ensure compliance with the federal government's mandate to be a model employer, as described in the EEOC's MD 715.Requirements:
Mandatory Requirements:Superior, analytic and critical thinking skills, the ability to identify issues and develop process improvement. recommendations, and excellent writing skills utilized in the preparation of reports and other correspondence.
Superior use of tact when expressing ideas or opinions to senior leaders, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and management skills to conceptualize and effectively lead complex analytic projects with limited supervision.
Expert knowledge and experience in major EEO and/or diversity program functions.
Expert knowledge of Federal EEO and/or Diversity laws, regulations, polices, and practices.
Expert understanding of the nature and causes of institutional barriers to EEO and/or diversity.
Expert program management, analytic, and critical thinking skills, including superior ability to conduct program assessments, identify needs and requirements, and develop recommendations for the successful implementation of diversity and/or EEO programs.
Two years of Federal-level EEO experience.
Desired Requirements:
Knowledge of personnel management principals, in general.
Superior ability to identify and define solutions to equal opportunity issues through systematic fact-finding or investigation.
Superior ability to research and interpret legislation and guidance affecting EEO in the federal workplace.
