This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Operations, Assistant Commandant for Intelligence & Criminal Investigations (CG-2), Coast Guard Cryptologic Group (CGCG), Ft. Meade, MD.
Requirements:
At the GS-14 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work such as:
- Providing broad strategic and operational guidance to advance and sustain cryptologic near, mid, and long-range objectives.
- Participating in complex engagement and forecasting for appropriate resourcing, capabilities, training, and manning levels and champions DoD and the intelligence community.
- Initiating, managing, and evaluating complex and sensitive projects, programs, and activities.
- Developing, projecting and revising long-range estimates within the intelligence infrastructure.
