Description:
This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Police Operations Division. As a Supervisory Police Officer (Lt), you will report to the Deputy Inspector and in the absence of a Deputy Inspector the incumbent will report to the Inspector or the Chief of Police. Ensure the assigned unit/shift or branch is operated in a cost effective and efficient manner, providing uninterrupted protection and security for BEP's employees, visitors, products, and property.

The duties of these positions require moderate to arduous physical exertion and/or duties of a hazardous nature. Specialized Experience: For the TR-10, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the TR-09 grade level in the Federal service . Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Leading or supervising while performing law enforcement work in the preservation of the peace; AND Administering and providing pertinent training to law enforcement personnel; AND Experience assisting with internal and external rules, regulations, and directives, police manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA).
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the TR-10, you must have been at the TR-9/ GS-9level for 52 weeks.
