Description:
This position is in the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Office of Field Operations (OFO), Division of Finance, Program Operations Branch. This position performs financial management work relating to the financial and accounting activities of DOL in the field and assists higher-graded staff in providing accounting and financial management services.This position is inside the bargaining unit.

If qualifying based off education for the GS-9 level, applicant must posses:
LL.B or J.D., if related PhD or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
For GS-9: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-07, in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Qualifying specialized experience for GS-9 includes: Experience with using the Treasury OTCnet software to process Administrative Checks; and Experience with processing Transit Subsidy applications.
