Description:

You will serve as a SCIENTIST in the Infrastructure Division (102), within the Safety Branch (1024) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.

Requirements:

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional scientist, providing technical guidance and expertise in the development and implementation of radiation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations or guidance for a radiation safety program.
