About the Position: This is for a Readiness Specialist position with the US Army Space & Missile Defense Command, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3, Training, Readiness & Exercises Division, Training & Readiness Branch located in Colorado Springs, CO. The incumbent will act as a subject matter expert for the Command for matters and programs pertaining to readiness reporting for the Command.Requirements:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting important public policies or programs pertaining to Army Strategic Readiness, Army Total Force Policy and Army Campaign Plan support; fulfilling mobilization, deployment, redeployment, and demobilization requirements to remain in compliance with Army Readiness and the Army Total Force Policy models; utilizing mobilization systems such as the Army Mobilization System (AMS) and the Department of the Army Mobilization Processing System (DAMPS); executing the Military Decision Making Process and cost/benefit analysis to assist in military decision making; and preparing documents for briefing senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (NH-02/GS-11).
