Key Qualifications
Excellent communicator with the ability to interpret technical lingo to end usersExperienced in data driven approach, implemented techniques for data reconciliation in systems with high frequency loads in business critical environmentsHands-on experience with SQL, Business Objects, Tableau or other analytic tools with a drive to dive deepStrong understanding of Business Intelligence conceptsExperience in working in teams using Agile frameworks such as Scrum or KanbanUnderstanding of automated test suites and frameworks such as Selenium, Python and JavaScriptsExperienced in Test Strategy, Planning and Execution including Functional and Non Functional testingUnderstanding of Dimensional Modeling and Data warehousingUnderstanding of the Finance Industry, Supply and Demand Management, Units forecastingExperience in project collaboration products such as Jira, Confluence, Quip, MiroExperience in Data Migration projectsSelf-motivated and proactive with critical thinking and creative problem solving skillsAbility to learn and adapt to new tools and technologiesAbility to work individually or as part of a teamAbility to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
Description
Your responsibilities will include:- Deep dive into various financial & hierarchical data points in different sets of hierarchies, understanding the nuances of how complex data behaves- Define and implement the test strategy based on Functional Requirements driven by the Product Manager- Work closely with the Product Managers to define test plans that ensure data quality both on new development and regular data loads- Drive test coverage across different source systems, transactional applications and reporting environments, taking into account new features and regression- Execute test scenarios in a repeatable manner, allowing for easy data quality monitoring- Coordinate release management and hold the final go / no-go in terms of data quality and functional behavior- Act as first gate for LiveOps issues, confirm the behavior and makes the call on priority with Product Manager- Report on found issues in a clear, well defined way- Collaborate with Engineers to understand implementation logic - Manage tickets on found data issues and work with the Product Manager to plan out bug fixes- Communicate status updates to end users and stakeholders concisely in a timely manner
Education & Experience
BS or MS in Engineering/Computer Science
