Description

We are looking for dedicated PC Technicians for a 3-week contract to help our client open a brand new office and set up all workstations. This role is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle tasks related to computer hardware, operating systems, and configuration management. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and managing the Google Suite.

Reliability is VITAL for this role, so we are interested in candidates that are able to stay with the project until it is complete.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain computer systems and networks within the organization

Set up computer systems, install and configure hardware, and diagnose hardware/software faults

Resolve technical issues related to the network cable routing

Handle the setup and management of workstations, including the connection and setup of monitors

Support the operation of Google meet and chromebooks

Configure and manage the Google Suite and other related tools

Ensure all technical operations adhere to compliance standards

Monitor and maintain technology to ensure optimal performance and system health

Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time, and follow up on technical issues when needed

Requirements

Familiarity working with Google operating systems

Proficiency in managing and maintaining computer hardware

Experience in configuration management, ensuring system security and performance

Ability to work with Google Suite applications like Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive

Openness to learning new technologies and systems relevant to the role

Good troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues in a clear, non-technical manner

Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

No minimum years of experience required, open to Entry Level Candidates and career shifters

Willingness to work in the energy/natural resources industry
