This is a public notice flyer to notify applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA - Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities/ Major Range and Test Facilities Base in the DoD. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1)knowledge of operating electronic principles such as microminiaturized digital and solid state integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, tube circuits, antennas, signal transmission, oscillation, and amplification; 2) Knowledge of circuit construction in order to recognize types and sizes of electronic components IE: resistors, capacitors, transistors and wiring; 3) Interpreting complex drawings, specifications, and schematics of complete systems to recognize the function and interconnections of the various assemblies and troubleshoot the system from the schematic, following signal paths through a complex path of interconnections of components, assemblies, subassemblies, and connecting cable harnesses; 4) Using a variety of hand tools such as soldering irons, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wire strippers, crimpers etc., to effectively execute repairs, and replace defective components; and 5) Modifying systems by adding, altering, or removing components in order to standardize or alter the purpose of the equipment or to incorporate new features developed since the equipment was manufactured.
