This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Performing routine and repetitive calibration, disassembly, testing, and installation on precision measurement equipment; 2) Applying knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics, and electronics to calibrate and certify a variety of electrical, electronic, and/or physical/dimensional test, measurement and diagnostics equipment (TMDE); 3) Utilizing various measurement equipment and standards such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, measurement machines to diagnose calibration problems; and 4) Using shop math to determine dimensions and read blueprints to develop material lists. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
