Requirements:

GS-11:
In addition to the basic education requirement your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying broad knowledge of diverse engineering concepts and procedures that apply to assignments but require significant adaptations for particular assignments. Experience determining the nature of the issues involved and independently planning, and carrying out the work. Experience making commitments on matters in your position that are covered by precedents, regulations, policies, and practices. GS-09:

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying practical knowledge of a wide range of technical methods, principles, requirements, work techniques, and practices in electronics. Experience applying skill in standardized, analytical and evaluative methods and techniques sufficient to advise on or resolve difficult but well precedented, factual, procedural, or recurring issues, perform installation, maintenance, operation, and testing duties. Experience employing unique and specially designed instruments.
