About the Position: Located at Detroit Dam, the central control station for 2 multipurpose hydroelectric generation facilities with 140 megawatts of power production capacity. Detroit Dam is located within the North Santiam Canyon approximately 45 miles southeast of Salem. This position has a significant amount of interaction with dam safety, water management, and hydropower production interests (internal and external to the agency) in balancing planned work and demands on the facilities.Requirements:

Qualified applicants for this position must describe in their resume at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service working with power production and related equipment, or power generation, or power transmission.
