THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a WG-6652-11 AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1355000 in FAC 23P000 and is part of the MO 131st Bomb Wing.
APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This is a Permanent Excepted Service position. This is a non-bargaining position.

Requirements:
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be AFSC qualified within 12 months from date of appointment.
Maximum Military Grade - MSgt (E-7)
Minimum Military Grade - TSgt (E-6)
Enlisted - AFSC 2A6XX or 2A5X4
Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training which demonstrates your ability to repair malfunctions of ordnance equipment and components; use sketches, electrical diagrams, technical specifications and engineering drawings; and demonstrates skill in the use of test equipment to make electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic checks.
WG-11 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Mustpossess 18 months of specialized experience that demonstrates your ability to perform as a shop chief over an aircraft ordnance systems maintenance function with responsibility for the overall shop operation; plan and layout of repair sequence and ability to complete modification, repair and installation of ordnance systems; diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and determine remedy where complex relationships exist. The specialized experience must also demonstrates experience in hand tools and a limited number of measuring equipment; use of a variety of test equipment; and interpret technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications.
Must currently possess or have held AFSC 2A653.
