Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR) - Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Major study -- commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.OR
Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband, NH-02, or equivalent to the next lower grade, GS-11 or equivalent, in other personnel pay systems including specialized experience as follows:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience with various presentation media including photography, computer graphics, visual arts and reproduction processes and their capabilities. Experience with computer graphics equipment as a tool to perform the duties of a visual information position. Experience with the principles of artistic design and display and their application to the field of visual communication. Experience and skill in visualizing objects, materials, ideas and information sufficient to create the effect specified by a client. Has working knowledge of DRUPAL and Adobe Creative Suite and how to effectively employ products and deliverables. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
