This position is in Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM); Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSTRI); Resources Management Division (RMD); Contracts Management Branch. About the Office of Land and Emergency Management | US EPA.
This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

Requirements:

To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as experience in the development of methodologies/assumptions for conducting special projects designed to evaluate the effectiveness of national and regional policy/program efforts to meet strategic program goals.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
- Knowledge of program management techniques
- Knowledge of Superfund remedial program
- Knowledge of EPA and Federal Government procurement regulations
- Ability to evaluate program operations
- Ability to develop strategies and guidance to support obtaining services for remediation activities
- Knowledge in development of methodologies/assumptions for conducting special projects designed to evaluate the effectiveness of national and regional policy/program efforts
- Skill in oral communication
- Ability to manage and direct team efforts
- Knowledge of the federal procurement process
- Skill to evaluate and assess contract performance using measures and metrics
