Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following experience: 1) Formulating an organization's strategy, campaign support plan, mission/vision; 2) Extensive knowledge of operational-strategic plans, military operational art, and Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES); 3) Developing an organization's Posture plan; 4) Writing Flag level position papers, briefings, and talking points related to theater strategy and planning issues; 5) Analyzing and developing a variety of National, Regional, and Bilateral level policies, contingency plans, operational plans, campaign plans, and strategies.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
