The primary purpose of a Commissary Contractor Monitor is to conduct quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary stocking, order-writing, custodial, receiving, holding, and/or contracted services performed in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) facility.Requirements:
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-5. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.Examples of qualifying specialized experience:
- Conducting quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary or retail grocery contracted services.
- Apply retail grocery store administration policies and procedures as they relate to established contracts.
- Monitoring vendors and/or contractors in a retail setting to ensure proper inventory. Physical requirements: Stand, stoop, kneel, bend and climb for prolonged periods. You will attest to your ability to perform these physical requirements in the Questionnaire.
