This position is covered under Administrative and Management Positions.To qualify for this position your resume and supporting documents must show that you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level applicants applying for the GS-13 grade level must possess a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 (or equivalent) grade level.
Specialized experience may not be substituted for education at this grade level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience:
- Independently manages, plans, designs, develops launch strategy to drive increased market reach and carries out visual arts projects.
- Mastery of principles, methods, practices and techniques for creating professional state-of-the-art visual
presentations. - Researches and analyzes capabilities and limitations of new software and equipment.
- Manages milestones, deadlines and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects
Additional Requirements that must be met by the closing date: - Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA.
