Description:

The mission of the National Counterintelligence & Security Center is to lead and support the U.S. Government's counterintelligence (CI) and security activities critical to protecting our nation; provide CI outreach to U.S. private sector entities at risk of foreign intelligence penetration; and issue public warnings regarding intelligence threats to the U.S.

Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

Sufficient knowledge of IC analysis and collection to lead initiatives for the portfolio, including identifying relevant analytic and collection requirements and gaps.

Expert knowledge of IC organizations; IC mission posture, structures, capabilities, processes, and policy development.

Expert leadership skills and ability to create and lead formal and ad hoc interagency communities of interest and build coalitions with IC elements to achieve common goals.

Substantive knowledge of issues pertaining to counterintelligence in general and the portfolio in particular.

Excellent written and oral communication, including experience in briefing agency seniors and policymakers.

Well-honed critical thinking skills, as demonstrated by the ability to consider strategic contexts, identify needs and requirements, develop recommendations, advocate to and inform internal and external audiences, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives.

Superior interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to build and use professional networks; and ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative environment.

Superior oral and written communication skills, including superior ability to draft and edit written reports of varying length and complexity, and to communicate effectively with audiences of varying seniority and expertise.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with analysis, collection, and counterintelligence initiatives related to Economic Security to identify and counter foreign intelligence threats.

Desired Requirements:

Knowledge of and experience in the intelligence cycle.

Previous intelligence mission management experience.

Previous counterintelligence experience or knowledge of the IC's counterintelligence components, mission posture, structure, capabilities, processes, and policies.

Previous two Performance Reviews recommended but not required.
