In this position, you will hold a pivotal role in establishing robust control structures including policies, guidelines and frameworks to ensure the ethical and safe use of GenAI across ADP. This position requires a unique blend of technical aptitude, ethical awareness, and big-picture thinking, to drive ADP forward in the world of GenAI. You will reach out to and converse with diverse teams of internal clients across ADP to define processes that support both the advancement of AI and the protection of data., You’ll work closely with ADP privacy, legal, security, compliance, enterprise data governance, and more to build the policies and best practices needed to succeed.

Whether you’re in meetings with our business leaders, product teams, legal, privacy, compliance, or security, you’ll be the guiding voice that helps create and establish our GenAI governance framework. You’ve worked with governance teams and understand the foundations and importance of a strong data security posture. You communicate policies and guidelines to key stakeholders and the business. With your unique perspective, your voice will guide the project to success all while safeguarding our data. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a GenAI Governance Lead at ADP.
- You will define clear objectives, boundaries, and processes for GenAI use at ADP, ensuring that the proposed usage aligns with ADP’s high ethical and legal standards.
- Set clear expectations and document guidelines for GenAI’s operations to prevent misuse.
- Develop internal policies that go beyond the legal minimum, covering ethical considerations and best practices.
- You will partner closely with Privacy to embed privacy by design into the framework.
- You will engage our Security partners to ensure the right controls are in place to protect our data
- You will work with our Legal partners to create policies that mitigate risks across the GenAI landscape.
- You will ensure continuous training and education to keep up with this rapidly evolving field.
- You will play a critical role in enabling the safe use of AI across multiple use cases under your purview.
- You will identify and assess potential risks associated with AI initiatives and take proactive steps to ensure compliance.
- Develop metrics to measure AI compliance across the AI landscape.
- You will partner with our Enterprise Data and Information Governance teams to understand existing processes, tools, and implications to leverage a strong existing governance foundation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in data governance, AI strategy, or a related role in technology, data science, or AI. An understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, or data analytics with a focus on technical and ethical considerations.
- Familiarity with potential AI related regulations (ex: GDPR) and their implications for AI development and use.
- Proven record of effectively leading successful initiatives. Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for AI enablement and governance aligned with business goals.
- You have strong communications skills are able to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You thrive in complex situations because you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to asses risks, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions
- You possess an ability to drive change and influence stakeholders to adopt AI-driven governance practices
- Proficiency and proven ability to move projects forward to success
