Requirements:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:Completed undergraduate or graduate education, the awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combination of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 1-year equivalent specialized experience to at least the next lower grade level before being eligible for the next grade level. Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the financial management occupational series and grade. Experiences gained through military technical training schools or civilian academic courses or related civilian work are included in the one-year on-the-job specialized experience. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs): Skill in developing, applying and adjusting financial plans and policies to attain mission objectives. Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, financial management reporting, auditing, computer systems, and management analysis. Skill in providing management with financial advice. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of management. Skill in applying leadership training/skills to manage assigned personnel in a work center environment.
