Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Applying environmental laws, regulations, and policies, such as the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and Resource Conservations and Recovery Act (RCRA to support an organization's environmental program;
- Applying knowledge of engineering principles, chemical/geological/hydrogeological processes and risk evaluation protocols to support Environmental Restoration cleanups;
- Developing documentation for Environmental Restoration cleanup programs; and
- Communicating technical information, in both verbal in written form, to a range of recipients such as coworkers, senior management, clients, regulatory agencies, or the public. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
