You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing technical assistance for responses to spills and releases of oil and hazardous substances to facilitate containment, support cleanup actions, and minimize adverse impact to human health and environment;
2) Identifying properties and hazardous characteristics of chemical elements and compounds;
3) Identifying and Evaluating environmental problems and hazards found at shops of various activities;
4) Enacting measures to ensure compliance with laws/regulations, Executive Orders, and policies regarding the program management of hazardous waste, spill preventions;
5) Demonstrating the ability to clearly and effectively communicate orally and in writing.
