This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for providing guidance and direction in the position serves as the immediate supervisor accomplishment of responsibilities related to budget operations and position management. Supervises the planning, analyzing, formulating, justifying, presenting, executing, and reviewing the total activity budgets..Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
- Oversees all phases of budgeting and execution processes to include formulation, preparation, execution, entitlements and ensures proper postings in the financial records
- Work with various fund transactions, managing the funds, fund controls, funds distribution, reporting and funds reconciliation.
- Executing agency programs independently, to include Operation & Maintenance (O&M), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and Procurement Defense Wide (PDW) appropriations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
