COMMUNITY PLANNER AND LIAISON OFFICER (CPLO)

Description:

Requirements:

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1. Preparing and giving oral and written presentations to a variety of audiences;
2. Building relationships in the community (with state and local government officials, land owners, developers, realtors, industry associations, neighborhood representatives and others) to understand current and future development plans inside and outside the organization that could negatively affect tenants' missions;
3. Analyzing available information to identify potential encroachment issues using applicable local, state and federal laws to formulate a recommended strategy for managing the issue; and
4. Developing schedules, execution and acquisition plans.    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
