Description:

The primary purpose of the work in this position is to provide analytical and evaluative assistance to the Head of Audience Development in the Visitor Experience department. This role is responsible for planning and executing key research and analysis projects related to audience growth and development both onsite and online, including but not limited to audience research and evaluation, market research, data management and analysis, and reporting.

Requirements:

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-0343-11.

For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the NF-09 level in the federal service, preparing reports on audience development for a museum or cultural institution.

Research – Knowledge of audience development research methods and data formats. Presentation – Skill in presenting information in writing and through data visualizations. Project Management – Ability to manage all aspects of a Project, including planning the work, developing procedures, and tracking progress.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
