About the position: This position is located at the School Age Program.The position may require the incumbent to transport children in a government vehicle-a valid state driver's license must be obtained/maintained; a good driving record is required as a condition of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: ALL LEVELS
Must be a high school graduate, or equivalent; and be able to provide proof (i.e., diploma or equivalent) for verification.
AND
CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (LEADER LEVEL):
Twelve months experience equivalent to the CY-03 (TARGET level) working in a group program for children or youth
AND
Completion of a CDA, or have a degree (Associate or higher) in ECE or related field (youth studies)
Highly desirable- are members of a ECE professional organization (such as BAEYC), continue to pursue professional growth opportunities (conference, higher ed courses, etc) serve as mentor and take on additional duties/responsibilities.
