You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the federal service, performing duties such as: Developing and rendering authoritative interpretations of the Executive Orders, Office of Management and Budget guidelines and directives, policies, and precedents; Applying budget execution processes, procedures, and regulations for a major program; Developing apportionments and allocating funds based on fiscal policies; Applying processes used to fund Interagency Agreements (IAA); and Performing a variety of administrative and analytical duties for the review, justification, and presentation of budgets, and providing budget execution briefings to senior officials. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
