You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY PHYSICAL SCIENTIST/OCEANOGRAPHER in the Ocean Projects Department (N9), Ocean Collections Division (N94) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Experience using autonomous collection systems and mission planning techniques to map ocean and environmental data into mathematical animations. Experience interpreting and implementing data sets that support shallow water ocean modeling and ocean prediction products; Experience conducting surveys and research using data from Remote Environmental Monitoring Units (REMUS) AUVs.
