About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eisenhower Golf Course, Air Force Academy, Colorado. This position does include benefits. Position is subject to furlough form 15 Dec to 1 March of each year. Hourly rate will be based on qualification and experience.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Prior experience in all facets of golf operations including inventory; golf instruction; tournament and event management; knowledge of golf course maintenance. Expertise in PGA rules and regulations. Knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures including opening and closing procedures of the Golf Pro Shop. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Golf Genius. Substitution for experience: A four-year degree from an accredited college with a major of Golf Management may be substituted for the general experience. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience must be at a level that demonstrates the applicant can perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Must have the physical ability to play golf. Must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner.
