Description:

  • Two vacancies will be filled:
    • One in the Northeast Region which consists of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
    • One in the Midwest Region which consists of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
    • The selected candidates must physically reside or relocate (at own expense) to a state within the region selected for.

To qualify for this position, applicants must possess the experience and/or education listed below:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience (demonstrated in the resume), equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level, in the Federal service, performing at least three of the following tasks:

Performing administrative tasks such as sorting and gathering information about stakeholders, recording information for reports, tracking equipment and supplies, managing files and databases, maintaining contact lists for stakeholders. Building and maintaining strong, mutual relationships and keeping open lines of communication with key stakeholders. Providing support in planning and coordinating, events, meetings, and workshops that promote program initiatives and future projects. Conducting research to determine issue areas and important trending developments. -OR-

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. The education must be in a field related to the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The education must be in a field related to the position.

Time-in-grade requirements: Applicants must meet time-in-grade (52 weeks at the GS-07 grade level), time-after-competitive-appointment (90 days, if applicable), and qualifications requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement, 04/23/2024, to be eligible for consideration.
