Description:
As a Program Manager (Enterprise Risk Manager) at the GS-0340-15, you will be part of the agency's Planning, Performance, and Evaluation Group. If selected, you will serve as OPM's risk management expert and a change agent with a strategic focus on enhancing the agency's decision-making processes. You will lead the identification, analysis, prioritization, response planning and monitoring of the major risks to achieving OPM's strategic goals and objectives.Requirements:
For the GS 15: You must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal Service (obtained in either the private or public sector) which demonstrates ALL of the following: 1. Leading senior executives and managers to develop an organization's enterprise risk profile and risk appetite;
2. Gathering risk information from employees, customers, and other stakeholders via interviews, surveys, and workshops;
3. Presenting enterprise risk information to senior decision-makers in meetings of a Risk Management Council or similar body;
4. Developing risk dashboards or reports for senior executives tracking an organization's major enterprise risks and progress in responding to the risks; AND
5. Analyzing major enterprise risks using a variety of tools, including root-cause analysis, scenario analysis, and key risk indicators. Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS15 level.
