This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs (OJP), National Institute of Justice (NIJ), OJP's mission is to increase public safety and improve the fair administration of justice across America through innovative leadership and programs. NIJ's mission is to advance scientific research, development, and evaluation to enhance the administration of justice and public safety.Requirements:
Basic Entry Requirements:Degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

Combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
-OR-
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates the acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
