This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.Requirements:
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
- Developing written informational materials for dissemination through a variety of media (blog, social media, intranet, etc.), and determine the most appropriate communication medium to transmit information, and;
- Producing various products including Audio, video, graphics and printed material designed to promote and explain Agency initiatives and goals.
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:- Developing innovative and prudent solutions to complex and controversial topics in which the boundaries are broad and unclear, and the relevant issues and obstacles are difficult or impossible to determine in advance, and;
- Using a variety of communication techniques and methods (written, oral, print, etc) to develop and disseminate information programs, policies, and actions concerning current operations, both internal and external.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
