Description:
This position is located within the Financial Operations Branch of the Budget and Finance Division. The Division is responsible for all financial aspects of the District of Columbia Courts and the duties of the Fiscal Officer outlined in Title 11, Section 1723(a)(2) of the D.C. Code. The position is responsible for planning, developing and implementing accounting functions involved in the monitoring, and disbursement of funds of the D.C. Courts.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 11: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in entering, modifying, tracking and analyzing information in computer accounting and digital record keeping systems.
Experience using both manual and electronic payment systems.
Experience interpreting data and drafting narrative reports for managers.
Familiarity with basic operations management and knowledge of travel regulations and techniques.
