Associate Director/Director (Program Financial Services), MC-301-3B/3A

Description:

This position is located in the in the Program Financial Services Unit, Sector Operations Division within the Department of Compact Operations, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-14/15, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 3b/3a which is generally equal to GS-14/15.

Requirements:

To qualify for pay band 3B applicants must meet the following:

Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4A (GS-13) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as: experience working with international governmental or international organization financial management systems and auditing practices; experience evaluating the adequacy of financial management systems and structures; experience developing policies and operational procedures regarding the financial management of funds; experience analyzing the effectiveness of financial management systems and making recommendations for improvement; experience working collaboratively and effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and with staff of other USG agencies, counterpart country institutions, and multi-lateral development institutions. Highly Desirable: Oral and written communication skills in Spanish or French. Please include language and level of proficiency in your resume.

Time-in-Grade: Time-in-grade requirements apply. You must have one year of Federal service equivalent to or GS- 13 to be eligible for pay band MC- 3B. You must have one year of Federal service equivalent to or GS- 143 to be eligible for pay band MC- 3A.
