Description:
Serves as a Recreation Assistant (Lead Lifeguard) in the Aquatics Department of the Hale Koa Hotel.Local candidates will be reviewed first as PCS is not authorized. If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered.
The first cut-off date will be on 2/09/2024. Additional lists will be pulled after this cut-off date at the request of the hiring manager.
Determination of the appointment category will be made by the selecting official.
Requirements:
Must possess the following certificates:1. American Red Cross "Lifeguard" certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification).
2. American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer" (CPR-Pro) certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates (CPR) Certification).When facilities use Automated External Defibrillator "AED's" and Oxygen Administration "O2 bottles" the following is required
3. American Red Cross "Automated External Defibrillator" (AED) certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates AED certification
4. Must Obtain an American Red Cross "Oxygen Administration" certification or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Ellis & Associates Oxygen Administration certification within 6 months of employment.
