Applicants should have excellent academic credentials, possess superior oral and written communication skills and some case- or brief-writing experience, preferably at least 5 years. Ideal candidates will also have a background that includes several of the following:- Broad knowledge and expertise in labor, employment, and civil service law;
- Broad knowledge and expertise in the administrative rulemaking process;
- Legislative, congressional and/or government relations experience; and
- Prior supervisory experience. Applicants should also possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties described above, and a demonstrable commitment to the mission of the organization.
