The Supervisory Contract Specialist position is located in the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Finance and Procurement Office (FPO), Procurement Management Division (PMD). The FPO is responsible for the management, oversight, and support of the judiciary's finance and procurement activities.Requirements:
Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experiencewhich is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience as a contracting officer providing leadership, direction, and guidance on acquisition planning, contract formation, and contract management.
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate experience in the private OR public sector performing the following:
(1) Providing the full range of contract and contract administration services for support services, and information technology services and equipment; and (2) Applying innovative (e.g., TechFAR, PIL, etc.)and advanced contracting skills to information technology services and support service acquisitions.
Certification: A Federal Acquisition Certification-Contracting (FAC-C) Professional or a Department of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification Level III is required for this position. Applicants with a FAC-C Professional must have completed all training and experience requirements to achieve FAC-C Level III prior to January 31, 2023. To validate that you meet the required training, experience, and certification requirements for this position, please submit a copy of your previous FAC-C Level III with your current FAC-C Professional certifications, or a copy of your DAWIA Level III certification.
