This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support direct hire authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Applying knowledge of Acquisition programs and research and development, as it relates to Non Destructive Inspection;
2) Flight test and in-service engineering for aircraft and weapon systems to various Program Management Authorities (PMAs);
3) Developing NDI procedures, reviewing existing NDI requirements, evaluating and/or applying new technologies, assisting NDI engineering activities, and performing inspections on flight test, fielded aircraft, or naval systems; and
4) Planning, organizing and directing major research and development programs in the area of non-destructive inspection in order to enhance the performance of advance materials employed on aircrafts.
