Minimum Qualification Requirements:
To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series to which you are applying.

Specialized Experience
To qualify for the GS-15, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1) serving as a technical expert on all legal, administrative, and procedural matters concerning complaints of discrimination; 2) drafting analyses of the legal merits of an Equal Employment Opportunity or civil rights-related case such as procedural dismissals, final orders, merit Final Agency Decisions, compensatory damages Final Agency Decisions, legal briefs, and decisions on breach of settlement allegations; 3) conducting legal research, using statutes, regulations, administrative guidance, and case law to inform legal analysis and policymaking; 4) developing and presenting EEO training and orientation programs to managers, supervisors, counselors, and employees relative to complaints program, prevention of discrimination, accessibility, reasonable accommodation, sexual harassment, and/or other anti-discrimination topics; and 5) drafting, editing, or recommending revisions to policies, policy statements, and directives relevant to the corrective, curative, and preventive actions necessary to eliminate and prevent discrimination.
